The Adopt a Family Association would like to thank all those who came out and supported our programs.We also would like to express
our sincere appreciation to our former board member Rachelle Dunn and her husband Larry for their donations to the Adopt a Family programs .
The Dunn Family will be moving to Georgia in June and we will miss the both of them and their daughters .

Thanks to all of the lucky winners on our first trip to Seneca Niagara Casino November 13, 2010. We had a lot of fun. Thank you for helping us raise eleven hundred dollars for our
Adopt a Family Programs.

Brighten Your Education Project

The Adopt a Family Association went to ten area elementary schools in Cleveland, Brooklyn
and Brookpark. Executive Director , Madeline Medley gave a presentation while Vice Exec. Director Deborah Wynn and Board Member, Fawn Estep distributed toothbrushes, toothpaste , dental floss and activity books to 1300 kindergarten and first grade students donated by Ocean Dental and Hudec Denta.l

The Brigthen Your Education Project was to stress the importance of dental care and how it affects the children's overall health. The children interaction showing the proper way of brushing their teeth and how often they should brush their teeth. "It was a lot of fun speaking with the children"(Madeline).
Site visits and donations to ; Brookpark Memorial Elementary, Brookridge Elementary, Brookview Elementary, Hope Academy West, Michael White Elementary,Miles Park, Newton Baker, Carl & Louis Stokes, Union Elementary and Urban Community.
Discussing how important education will be to the children's future was also emphasized. With the economy downturn it is important the students continue their education journey by graduating from high school and going on to college. They are our future doctors, politicans, police officers and super hero.
